Gaming chair and VR
Not going to ever afford one of them fancy, 'throw you about the room and empty all of your change out of your pocket' chairs. But thinking one of them relatively cheap Rocker chairs which sit on the floor. Does anybody have any experience with one of these? are they ok, great, or dont ever do it? Cheers

I have been gifted a gaming chair once - threw it away after a month and started using a gym ball instead. You should consider trying it out. Cheap, comfortable, healthy and fun.

I have an office chair, with wooden Hotas control mounts bolted on, I am a simple man.

I use a PlaySeat, slightly modded for HOTAS. Just another idea for you:

Damn, you guys are hardcore. I've just got my crappy office chair with my stick and throttle Velcro'd to my desk keyboard shelf.

It's an Evolution PlayStation one:

Still a bit overpriced, to my taste, but well... I also bought 2 gearshift holders, and used those on both sides to hold the HOTAS instead:

From my own experience, it's not very comfortable to play long sessions because of the legs position. The chair itself is low, so you can't drop your legs down. Or maybe I just have long legs. Space legs!

Ill have to take a close look. I was looking at the Air Force seat.

Yes, that one looks more suited for a comfortable sitting. Side holders for a HOTAS look a bit weak, though. Not sure if those rods can hold a lot of weight for long.

yeah....thats kind of my problem. I saw one in a store and it didn't look very sturdy...none of them did. Im not a big fat dude but thise chairs don't look like they were intended to support adults.

Currently just using a normal chair, with 2 other chairs to either side and slightly forward for the joystick and throttle, plus a footrest. Works pretty well, getting everything into roughly the same position as it is in VR.
