Road to Riches

Hello - quick question please. I was doing the "Road to Riches" but the site does not allow you a way to save where you've been. So, had to leave computer up and running for a few days while I worked my way down the list of systems. OK< but I knew that I would mess up and shut down that page and I did! Now, when I try to do the RTR, it will send me to places, lots of places, I've already been. Waste of time, big waste of time. Just wondering if there's ANY way to filter out where I've been? I even went pretty far out thinking it would send me through another path based on new location but nope, I can see that I have been to many of the places that it generates. Did I mess up here and just bite the bullet and go through all the places I've been, obvioulsy with no need to scan the planets again? Thanks!

Maybe better to ask the people who run that site, since it doesn't have anything to do with the game itself.

I have been doing RTR for last 3 months,There is NO way to do what you asking for...sorry...I visited/scanned near 5000 systems from 9000,high value planets only ofcourse...and lost my path even with Eddiscovery always on.

The galaxy map in the game has a filter for systems you have visited.
Just keep that on while doing other stuff. :)

Thanks Jankules. I didn't think so but had to ask. Thought maybe there was something in your ship that could be used. It's cool. I made a bunch, so I guess I'll start bounty hunting or run passenger missions to make a few more hundered million. Got up to 107M, but will not really feel comfortable till I am sitting on half a billion. I see these guys on YouTube with like 34B in credits and wonder, how the hell?! Thanks again!

I rarely have over 100 million credits at any time, and I've been playing since before Horizons was a thing.
You'll be fine with what you have now.
Just make sure to have coverage for the rebuy for the ship you're in.

For the future, allow cookies from the RTR web app, and make sure your browser doesn't delete them when closing. On the right hand side you can mark sectors as visited, and the app will save that to your cookies, even when using the steam browser in-game. That way you can safely turn off the computer and have your visited sectors saved for your next session.

Thanks Kream! I did try to check browser history but, even though not blocking cookies, it would only bring up the page with systems and all my check marks were gone and systems were kind of shuffled the second time I mapped it out, with same exact criteria. Anyway, I'll live. Was getting a bit bored and back to doing what I love best, killing wanted ships! :)
