Thanks, I have looked at the T-flight but I would really like to stay away from hotas type sticks because of the way I play and space.
I was looking more for a single stick, I don't mind it having a throttle. Something that fits in the space I have. :)
So may sticks to choose from but I bet 90% don't do the job properly.
I use a Saitek X52 pro, the stick however can be purchased seperately
Logitech Extreme 3D Pro is a very nice entry level stick as well with a great button layout, but as it wears out you need rather large dead zones and the stick gets quite wobbly.
Now, if you already are using keyboard and mouse, have you considered HOMAS, e.g. joystick and mouse?
Left hand stick for thruster control, and mouse for aiming, obviously switched around if you are left-handed.
VKB Gladiatior Mk2
any CH Joystick should be good
Thrustmaster Warthog (attention no Twist / Z-Axis)
Virpil Controllers - you can even choose the grip but you might want to pick the Delta Constellation - the others do not have a Twist / Z-Axis
I would NOT buy anything below the pricerange of the Joysticks i listed and maybe worth mentioning.... i had a lot of bad experience with Saitek (except the x52)

And like you guys say, when room allows I can expanded it to a full blown cockpit :)
And, and it's lefty friendly. Oh wait, the throttle isn't lefty friendly. A bit daft that having the joystick ambidextrous but not the throttle.
Hi! I'm left handed and bought the T.16000m fcs space sim duo. it's 2 sticks. I think this is the only option for us lefties. Need to set up my voice commands and start playing soon.
I bought it because I saw some videos like this one:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D71_0c1mKNg&t=1017s
https://virpil-controls.eu/shop/grips.html
They have several left handed and one for both. Its a higher price range though. ~250-300 $
But other than virpil and thrustmaster i haven't stumbled upon any other left handed Joysticks yet.
Honestly, I have used HOTAS as well for quite a while, and I think dual sticks is far superior.
Perfect thruster control is maybe the most important thing for flying in ED, and you just don't get anywhere near the precision with anything but a dedicated joystick.
I've also used mouse and stick, which should work perfectly fine for left handed as well, since you do get decent mice for lefties quite a few.
Disclaimer: I am not a MS or XBox fanboi in any way. I am a PC elitist!!
It's good enough if all you're going to do is fly a Type 9, but not for anything that requires a bit of accuracy
Thanks to everyone for helping me choose.
