Ah, thanks. Still good.
But for plasmas get close and fire and then boost out and come back and do the same. They do so much damage that most ships won't be able to recover shields in time for you to line up another shot. 3 Plasmas are enough to destroy almost any level NPC Conda. The rails are needed b/c it is very hard to hit small fighters with plasma so you use the rails when they are dancing around and the plasmas when they want to try to out tank you. The NPCs are very stupid and will just sit there and try to out tank you when you are cramming plasma down their throats. They die fast.
For an example one good shot from my rails can almost one shot stock shields on most smaller ships. One direct hit from all my plasmas can usually one shot the hull or nearly one shot it of most smaller stock ships.
But for PVE rapir fire pulse with scramble or phasing sequence is a must have. My mining Python use to have 3 of these but due to the mining loadout it can only have one. But even with the one I can still destroy most NPC pirates up to around Deadly rank where it tends to get more difficult. I will probably fit two now that I know the sub surface missile thingy isn't needed to mine the good stuff.
