I have always played in an acceptable way at Horizons until the beginning of 2018 using windows 10 with double partition bootcamp macbook pro 2012.
Today, in an attempt to replay us, I found myself with an error following the failed loading of the "Preparing Planet Generation System".
I tried to do some research, but nothing concretely applicable to my case.
Do you have any further information?
I state that if I start normal elite dangerous , it loads everything and I can play, only problem is elite dangerous Horizons.

Eep, the only thing I ever suggest for MAC gaming support, is get a gaming PC.

MACs are not meant to game, its like asking why your smash bros disc doesnt work in your DVD movie player.

Did some digging and the best I can come up with for the 15" mid-2012 MBP is a GT 650M with 1GB memory. Horizons will need at least 2GB memory, so that's below specs.

you should read well what I wrote without being there to point out obvious things. However when you came out this game was also designed for OSX; Horizons has always been supported only for PC, in fact I have always played through bootcamp with good performance.
So if you can add something constructive you're welcome, otherwise you made a useless intervention.

in the end, it was nothing alarming. We had to wait a little longer. Despite an error report, closed that, the game is loaded.
