Galaxy map issue
Is it me or am I the only one that has noticed systems not appearing on the galaxy map?
The only way I can get a system to appear is by searching for it even if I'm only 1 jump away.
I don't know weather I have to write a ticket or not.

First of all, check that you don't filter the galaxy map by star types. You might do it for the scoopable stars only route planning. But it will also hide the non-scoopable stars from the map.

No I'm not filtering anything.
It only started happening after the December patch.
Can you give an example of such a star system, so it can be checked from other accounts?

If you search for that star system name on the galaxy map search, does the cursor points at it?

Below the filters you have another selection to filter by population, make sure that's disabled or minimum and maximum are at extremes.

For example I was in Sol and went to my mission list.
I had to transport passengers to Luyten 145-141.
When I opened galaxy map the system doesn't appear and I had to do a search for the system so as to lock on to it.
The main star of Luyten 145-141 is not scoopable. I would double-check that the filters weren't accidentally activated after the December patch.

I will check at home if it shows on my map.

I think I found the issue...
I had my jump range not on.
No short jump ranges and jump ranges over 20 ly.
I have hi-lighted the jump range and seams to have fixed it.
Good that it works for you now. I've checked - it shows on my Galaxy map.

Another trick to try if something is not showing up on the map is to switch from the "Map" view (that can be affected by some filtering) to the "Realistic" view. It's on the 4th tab from the left on the Galaxy map, near from the bookmarks tab. There you can choose "Realistic", "Map", or "Powerplay". Realistic will show you everything, and you don't need to disable your filtering that you might want to keep as it is.

I too am facing a similar issue with the map. I've been learning how to do Passenger missions but for some reason I cannot find destinations I'm supposed to take tourists to. I highly dislike the mission statements as well, for instance, it says "Take Rich Tourist to FOR THE MUG! (what the hell is that about?) and LTT 4559 G (this system does not exist according to my map). I'm starting to think this game is completely broken and bugged to hell and I cannot find any information online about it. Been playing this game for about two months now and the only job I really like is Exploration, but that gets boring, and mining is way too complex being I'm terrible at flying. I can't even land on an orbital without my landing computer. I crash into things all the time and get fined for it. Very frustrating game, to say the least.

You do it once - you will remember forever. ;)

and LTT 4559 G (this system does not exist according to my map).

Are you sure it's not BD+14 4559? There is no LTT 4559 in the game.
