A good ballpark for all the big 3 is have a billion in your bank account before buying them. That'll get you an A rated (Including bulkheads, and trust me, you don't want to fly them with soft armor) as well as a generous pile of rebuys.

I'd suggest going to coriolis.io - you can build a ship and see the prices of everything, as well as see all the resultant stats.

Jameson Memorial price on a fully A-rated cutter (inc A bulkheads and 8A Prismatic shield, just to bloat the cost more) is just over 1BN

However, most configurations of the cutter (Including A Bulkheads) should come in around 900m at Jameson.

If you want it for exploring since it has the highest jump range out of all the ships fully engineered it's not that expensive since you need things that aren't A-Rated (don't know an estimate). Just be prepared to grid to no end to get the materials for the engineers. Not done engineering mine for exploration but still have a nice 64 LY jump range or a very nice 249 LY jump range with the help of a Neutron Star.

*Correction I do have a few 6A modules.

At this price range, look into a Krait MK2, it won't disappoint, and you'll have a great stepping-stone into anaconda.

Assuming you don't already have a Krait MK2.

I heared its good ye, But I am farming pretty good, I can get 600 mil within 6 more hours of farming, I will likely farm this spot till I can get an good anaconda before leaving this place.

Definetly going to add teh krait into my colelction tho

I havent finnished engineering my DBX's FSD and it has nearly 70 ly range
