Leagl Issues for module, but NOT wanted
Hi,

I had a mission on somwhere else land. The last time I have beed wanted, and I could see that status.

This time (similair mission), I recieved a message about losing reputation. This time I did not recieved such Wanted flag, and in hte star port, when I went to contact there were nothing to pay.

However, I found on few of my modules a re flag "legal issue".

How to fix it, where, and in the future how to find (before docking), there are some legal issues.

If you transferred modules from a "hot" ship, they will be "hot" as well. If possible, place them back in the original ship and clear the bounty (if notoriety has reset) before using them in a new ship.

*Edit* You should be able to pay a fee in storage to clean the modules.

Those "hot" modules are on my ship. I discovered it when purchasing a new SRV. Is it possible to find if something is "hot" before landing?

If you go into the module section on your right hand panel, select the module and select "Show info", it might show you there. I've never had this particular issue, so I'm guessing, but that's where I'd look. Failing that, you should be able to land at a station where you're not wanted and use the outfitting there to store and clear the modules. If that doesn't work, try it in an Anarchy system.

Did you transfer any modules from the ship that you committed a crime in? If not, submit a bug report. By landing at a station that you are not wanted at, I mean land at a station belonging to a faction that you have never committed a crime against.

On the faction system I am wanted, I could only see modules are "hot". Did not check if that was the same party I made a mess on the plabet!
!!! I am wanted on the planet, not in the space station

However, on the other system, when I removed a "hot" stuff, I got message I cannot "put this back on shop", and then I maneged to put is back :)

I am reading this now:

Looks like the keywords for the monet are:
[1] Notoriety - where to find this?
[2] Interstellar Factors - will try there

Ah that explains it; your ship is wanted, but only by a minor faction. Interstellar Factors should work.

On your right hand panel, click up and then right until you get to statistics, scroll down until you get to the crime section to see your current notoriety level. This doesn't show the decay of each level, but notoriety decays at one point every two hours.

Go to an anarchy system and try to pay the fine off. If you cannot, because of notoriety, it will tell you there; either wait in the station for a couple of hours with the game on, or go do something else for two hours, then return and pay it off.

Right, I did not find Interstellar Factors, as I would like to finish my unfinished mission first, so...
Harmles pilot in Eagle attaced me (because of bounty), but I tough he was a pirat from my mission. So I killed him, and I am now wanted. Went to the Interstellar Factors, but they said my notoriety is one and cannot help :( Need to fly 2hours somwhere...

Stop worrying about the modules, leave them in your ship then fly to an interstellar factors contact, you want to pay off your bounty with the hot modules in the hot ship that way you just pay the bounty price that's on your ship, if you take a modual out you will have to have it cleaned separately from your ship and it will get very expensive.

I found this out the hard way when the system first came out, a cop in an eagle flew in front of my 2 missiles while mid flight to there target, 5k bounty and 1 notoriety, so I went and refitted my ship for passengers and flew out to the middle of nowhere to let the heat come down.

Came back the next day, paid off bounty, went to get my modules and there are the legal issues, when it was all said and done it cost 21mil on top of the 5k, it would have been cheaper to eat the rebuy cost.

Good luck Cmdr o7
