Marco Qwent grade 5?

So either the UI is very misleading, or I'm missing something. The engineer interface says I've unlocked grade 5 access, but I can only see a max of grade 3 power distributors, and grade 4 power plants. Why does it say i've unlocked grade 5 access but there are no grade 5 blueprints? It says I've reached maximum grade and shows I'm at grade 5, so what am I missing?

Ummmm, when you've maxxed out G4 - you qualify for G5.......

Qwent only has up to G4 recipes. I think it's Hera Tani that has the G5 power plant ones and The Dweller for G5 distro recipes.

I am not sure but as I remember he used to have grade 5 upgrades but they patched it to max 4 and the UI was not fixed for those who unlocked grade 5 before I guess.

Cause Engineers can go up to the grade 5. But they don't offer grade 5 upgrades for every module. Some don't even have any grade 5 module.

It's like ranking from Rear Admiral to Admiral - gives no extra upgrades, just a name change.

FDev should slap on some utility module he can boost to 5, so he has some use.

He’s good for OC powerplant, you only really want a G3 in that anyway.

And he’s close so you can apply a special effect at G1 and then remote engineer.

^Pretty sure that upgrading removes the effect. I just apply it after I've finished.

Nah, you can apply at G1 up to the engineers max level, I do my dirty drag drives at Deciat, the remote up to G5.

No, it doesn't. I did most of my upgrades by applying the special effect as soon as I can, and then remote engineering it later, if I didn't have enough of mats. The special effect stays applied.
