I'm currently trying to link my steam account to inara, but it keeps giving me the same error message:

"An error occured or the access was denied. Please try to connect to Frontier/Steam/XBL/PSN again, grant Inara a permission to access your data there or wait a while if the service is offline.

Details: Access denied by user. You need to set permissions for Inara/Frontier to access your PSN/XBL/Steam/Frontier details during the authorization process. If there was no such step required during the process, try to log out on PSN/XBL/Steam/Frontier site first and then try to connect the accounts again."

I'm trying to find where i can give permissions for this site but i have no clue. Can anybody tell me where to go/what to do?

I don't know about linking a Steam account with INARA. I am using a little plugin, called E:D Market Connector, and it uploads to my INARA account by using the INARA API key. INARA issues an unique key that I enter into the EDMC, and all my stats are automatically updated.

I an linking inara.cz to Frontier directly. It works fine.

Go to "Commander/Overview" on Inara and click the big blue button "Import Frontier Data" to the right of the page.
Then click again on "Import Frontier Data" on the top of the popup that will apear.
Then you will be redirected to Frontier where you log in and give permision to Inara.

Your Inara profile will be updated as you play the game as long as you have Inara active.
