Where are all the large ships?

I used to go bounty hunting and find plenty of pirates in large ships. I've been looking all over for them recently, and resetting the zones multiple times, but all that spawn are small ships.

I've checked various system states, but this is all I find.
Posts from 2016 seem to claim the same thing, so is that just how hazardous sites are now? If so, does anyone know where large pirates can reliably be found? I have a large ship and need a large enemy to make the combat feel fun.

Low security areas? I find grouchy large pilots that way, or throw some of any commodity into your hold and watch as the victims come to you while you "haul cargo"

RES sites will only have like a Clippers and Condas as Large vessels. Vast majority of ships in RES sites are medium sited, then small sized and only a handful of large ones will spawn.

Sometimes i've got 4 condas almost at the same time, most of the time i've got bunch of medium ships for hours.

I’ll try the cargo, but aren’t there places where large ships spawn more reliably? I’ve heard there are places like navy bases where they spawn near constantly, but I can’t find any sources to back up that claim. If the assassination missions told me what kind of ship I’d be fighting I’d try those, but the last one I went after wasn’t just one ship, but a shield tank cutter with two FDL guards. It took three corvettes to complete the mission.

I used to see anacondas pretty regularly as aggressors when I ran missions for the fed in Soothis. That's a haul though.

There used to be a lot of places with high crime rates, but often now I can't seem to find these places, anywhere.. It may be that the bubble's in good shape, so pirates are less common, but I want to go bounty hunting, not on assassination missions..

I was hanging out at a nav beacon last night and got only small ships. Luckily I was after wakes and not bounties.

I’ve been wanting system to system with valuable cargo and didn’t see a single pirate. Either I’m in a Very safe area, even when in anarchy systems, or something is off..

I looked into the assassination missions available, and $1mil for an elite mission is piss poor.. The massacre missions pay considerably more, but I’m not interested in ruining my reputation with factions, and asking me to kill 90 ships is a tall order! Even if I did it, it’s take me so long. :/

All I’m looking for are large ships to fight, for fun and for the manufactured materials they drop, but I can’t find a thing!

I’ve been told pirating in anarchy systems is an option, but I’m not keen on that idea, and even if I was all the anarchy systems I visited were devoid of ships.

Look for Lan Wang, I think is the name. It's an anarchy system with a couple active wars and plenty of corvettes arround, might piss the feds off if you shoot them but I haven't noticed any repercussions from starting fights there.

I'll double check the system name when I get online tonight.

I increased the value of what I was carrying to ~60-80k, and went to one of my old hunting grounds, and while I found No large ships, I did at least attract a lot of attention from smaller ships. It's kind of frustrating though that all the cops seem to have large ships, but the pirates don't anymore, so, idk what's going on..

I just spent the last few hours sitting in my old hunting grounds in a corvette, covered in turrets. Lots of little ships tried to attack me, but none got through my highly resistant shields.
After maxing out a few low level items I went to a material trader. It wasn't much, it really isn't, but I have a little of everything now. I'd really prefer to farm larger ships, they drop much better items.

I'm trying to decide how to shoehorn in a collection limpent to my Krait 2
