a 1 bin refinery is a recipe for grief?

I've started refining, but only have a one bin refinery. If I am reading the info right, I have refined Prasodimium but only 30% of what would fill a cargo canister. It also shows silver 14%, which I take to mean the refinery has 14% silver to refine but can't until the P-mium is moved out.

Am I stuck? Without a second bin, I have no way to move out the P-mium. The only way to get things moving is to mine looking for more P-mium to refine...or is that silver going to keep the refinery from taking any more P-mium?

You need to purge the hopper from one of elements. Your refinery is only good for that many of different elements. When you add an extra one, the refinery doesn't know which one you want to keep and which one - to purge.

zap a roid with you laser's with your cago hold closed
2nd step
goto you nav panel and add to ignor list everything you dont need
3rd step
open cargo hatch and start to mine what you need...

remember other roids will give of other materials so you might have to repeat the steps and " do not ignor matts "

1-bin refineries are for single-resource mining only; you will have to set all other mats to "ignore".

Left screen, 3rd tab (Contacts). You will see mining chunks listed there, ignore the ones that you don't want right now.

I found the ignore panel...then all I need to do is ignore the things I don't want BEFORE I scoop. I ran into a situation where I completed a canister of refined gold, it emptied the bin to cargo and, though I wanted to stay with gold, it started the bin with another material on the next scoop (that didn't have any gold)
