So assuming you are nearing a quarter hour mark you can:
hop into solo and grab your missions
log out and go into open/private group and grab the missions there
wait for the 15 minute mark to pass and grab more missions
log out back into solo and grab a fourth and final set of missions.
thats 4 sets of missions from 1 station after crossing the quarter hour mark.
dont wait to get a full 20 missions as that negatively impacts your rep per hour. If you get 20 missions great, if not just go. If you arent approaching the quarter hour mark just go as if you hurry you can probably get to the next station just in time for the board refresh.
its all about maximizing grind per hour so in the end you will have done less grind overall. AND ACTUALLY PLAY THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GAME JESUS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CHRIST
Thanks for the reply, so this method is actually faster than just accepting every Sothis mission ?
I can fill 20 missions in 5 minutes by just accepting EVERY destination point in Sothis, is it really more viable to sit around and hoping you get the same destination mission ?
yes absolutely. Every additional stop you make is another 10 to 15 minutes travel time so you want to avoid it as much as possible. You are doing courier missions right? Ceos only has one station i think while sothis has a larger main station and a mining station much further out. Depending on your luck with courier missions you might want to skip the mining station.
Addiotionally dont take any missions to the planets. Entering orbit, docking on the surface, undocking and breaking planetary gravity all takes a lot of time. Way more time then it takes to enter and exit the station and then highwaking to the next system.
Stick with the two main stations unless you are getting screwed on courier missions, if so then include the sothis mining station into the rotation since it will probably have lots of new dawn station courier missions. If you are doing this then be sure to pick up mining station courier missions at new dawn. Avoid planetary missions like the plague.
* Only take Boom data delivery and cargo to the first 3 stops of Ceos and Sothis (anything beyond those 6 points it just too far).
* gaining speed each time you make a stop, takes a while. don't bother visiting more than 1 hub in the same system, altho the first 2 hubs of Ceos (or was it Sothis?) are 260ls away from each other, that's worth it. most of them are too close to planets, that humpers your speed gain too hard.
SO I did:
1st stop at Ceos > 1st stop at Sothis > 2nd stop at Ceos > 2nd stop at Sothis > 3rd stop at Ceos > 3rd stop at Sothis > back to 1st stop at Ceos. conclude and pick missions on each stop.
Got my Vette in little over 2 days. I find this method faster than trying to make full stacks of missions through board flipping.
Also, this is actually so efficient that occasionally you are gonna fill that % needed OF the next rank before you find that rank up mission.
Also, occasionally instead of using the 6 seconds rule for the hubs, you can dive in at full speed into a nearby planet planet to decrease your speed dramatically.
On a last note: a Python built for cargo made a lot of difference. Otherwise you will be doing Boom data delivery only, when there is a ton of missions for Boom cargo too.
Oh right, so acceptng missions at Sothis to deliver to Ceos is more viable then ?
I've been doing both and it feels like Sothis is huge and requires more different stops.
yeah you want to do both so that as you are coming and going you are handing missions in while picking new missions up.
