the packhounds look cool but im not sure there any good, and also i already know the prismatic is good

Following is just my opinion, but I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone that outright disagrees with me in practice, maybe some players will prefer a different order, but this is pretty much the definitive list of Must get. By "Must Have" I don't mean literally, your game is ruined until you have them, but if you're interested in Power Play modules, these should be the ones you add first.

Must Have:

Pacifier Frag Cannons
Imperial Hammers
Cytoscrambler Lasers*
Prismatic Shield Generator

Good, but not essential:

Enforcer Cannon
Pack Hound Missile Launcher
Mining Lance**
Pulse Disruptor
Advanced Plasma Accelerator

Bottom Barrel:

Lockdown Missile
Retributor


*Cytoscrambler lasers are a "Sleeper" Weapon. While on paper they seem like total trash, when combined with Corrosive damage (IE: Multicannon Corrosive Shell) They deal astronomical (Pun intended) hull damage at close range.

**Mining Lance is useful for Explorer ships, as it combines the function of a Mining Laser and small beam laser in one module, so you can mine for Jumponium, and still be able to interact with certain things you find in the black. Case in point: The new Guardian Beacons.
