SO I became hostile to my station for doing mission?!
Damn it :)

I was in Euryubia doing some Pirate Lord Assasination missions!
I return from a kill hand it in get the cracked industrila firmware... suddenly teh station seems to shoot me and the next thing I know I am in a Detention center?!

I had no clue why so I fly back to the station in Eurybia and its hostile and shoots at me almost blowing my Krait up!

Well Fair enough I guess I shouldnt have hunted Pirate Lords for the Pirates?!? lol
or is that a bug?!

anyhow how do I get rig of being hostile?! They said something that I have to wait until they contact me... how long is that gonna take?

If that pirate lord that you hunted down, belonged to the station controlling faction, they will be very upset with you. ;)

It's a good idea always to check not only whom you are doing a mission for, but also against whom. Missions like assassination, black box recovery, planetary base raiding, not only increase your stand with the giving faction, but also reduce it with the opposite faction.

Find their faction reps giving missions in other stations/systems

It's very hard, as you wouldn't see much if any mission given with that reputation. But somebody has reported here that, unlike allied, the hostile stance expires with time. I can't say, as I never been such a bad boy, yet. :)

you can switch ships and sneak in. arent bounties attached to ships now?

if your notoriety is 0 you can pay it off at an interstellar factor (low security systems should have them). if your notoriety is not 0 you have to wait ingame until it IS 0 (2 hours per notoriety point) and then you can pay it off.

You notoriety is in the status window, on the right panel in your ship, under statistics:crime

edit: Good lord did you take out the Don or something? They're pretty upset...

lol :)
notority is 0, went to an insterstellar factor earlier couldnt pay anything off, maybe I had notority at that point.... will try again at some point... off to some other adventure for now...

I believe notoriety decays at 1 point per 2 hours of logged in time. It used to be that sitting in a station did not count for this time, but I believe that changed with the recent update.

If it still doesn't let you to pay - try to re-log. The game is notorious with its delayed responses.
