High population systems are a good choice for missions in general. Industrial i think usually have a good selection of local taxi missions.

If you are looking for longer range sightseeing stuff, then tourist systems.

Also places that are in Civil War.

You need to choose a decent system and get allied with the factions there.... some systems are better than others, and the state of the system can have a bearing on the rewards like these guys said, but I've mainly found getting friendly and allied is the best way to get the best, highest paying pax missions.

I run missions from System Zeessze and from there I get missions transporting 30 odd business people for about 2.2 million at a time, stack that with a few others I generally make well over 3 million for a trip that takes about 10 minutes.

Also its Fed space so I rank up with the Feds for simply taking people from one station to another.

Ok thanks for the reply, i'm currently at Kremainn and allied with them, do you suggest just board hopping to fill up.....i only have the Dolphin right now. Was thinking of doing sightseeing missions?

Dolphin is a fantastic ship for this purpose, so you're pretty much set.

IMO, if you want cash quick, sightseeing is not the best way to do it. They are generally longhaul, for a few million credits. Although they can be fun as they often go to more interesting destinations.

For quicker, albeit smaller rewards (initially) run the missions transporting tourists, business people etc in bulk... I would recommend initially filling your Dolphin with economy cabins and as you get better, higher paying missions available swap out those for business class cabins. Remember passengers who want to travel in economy will happily travel in business class.

Another tip is keep an eye on the pax missions you don't meet the requirements for - its very useful to see if you need more rep, or just a different class of cabin which you can swap out if needed.

[EDIT] Re: Board hopping. I've never felt the need to do this, nor exit to main menu and re-enter the game to stack missions up... I know its possible but I've never really had the need to powergame for credits that much. This is really just a personal preference I suppose, per player.

Ok cool. I just struggle to find passengers wanting to go to the same destination, not sure if thats due to the system im in? :S

Nah, that's just luck of the board.

With a bit of work, or you're familiar with surrounding systems you can chain together a few 1-jump-dropoffs... once you're getting over a million for each drop off you're making millions per hour.
