Guardian Power Plant question

Does it make you immune to thargoid EMPs (or at least have some benefit in that arena)? I haven't been able to track down a confirmation of whether it does or doesn't. Been googling around and only found people saying they would go and test it, but no conclusions.

So, they went to test it and never returned with the answer... It sounds pretty conclusive to me. :)

On a serious note - it's an interesting idea. But what about all other modules? Shouldn't they also be affected by the EMP, even if you still have the operable power plant?

Apparently, on the elite dangerous wikia, the Guardian Modules Protection Optional Slot Module can protect against the Thargoids Shutdown signal. Have yet to test it myself though.

It does.
But other Guardian modules are not automatically immune to EMP

Thanks for the confirmation, I figured it didn't but just wanted some confirmation. Guardian Modules Protection? you mean the new guardian module reinforcement package? That would make it worth it if it could at least just prevent them from shutting down my shields.

neato, I did see in another thread though that the new guardian module package does incorporate this items effect into it. So I guess it saves you a utility slot there
