I've heard of people using them as combat ships.
With 6 internals its not going to be great for mining or piracy, but doable.
DBX does have an anemic power supply option though. It's one of the few ships that greatly benefits from Guardian power subsystems, namely the Power Distributor, which boosts power output by 4% (You heard me right, the Power Distributor actually boosts power output)
Because of the DBX (And DBS)'s excellent heat disappation ability, they make excellent Railgun platforms.
ive tried a railgun build on a DBS and it overheats after the first salvo, im not sure how you would turn that into a railgun platform
What kind of powerplant and thrusters are you using? I might be thinking of the scout that makes the good rail sniper.
I also use it for gathering engineering mats when visiting Davs Hope, Nuenets b3 , Koli Discii and of course the material traders.
