I think they drop more often from transport ships. Try heading to an anarchy system and play pirate/terrorist/murderer for a while.

Combat zones around Aliance space tend to have T10s in them. That might also be a good source.

Best place for colecting rare materials i found at attacked stations on planets.Just colect all materials on the ground then relog and do it again.Dont wory about thargoid,he just shooting at same spot all time.He won't hurt you or attack you.

Visit Dav's Hope. You'll be picking up bucket loads of them.

Im here now......took some finding and feel sick as a dog been in my buggy in VR for 5 mins......

Can i save this location on the planet?

Once you have scanned all the beacons (I think there are 4 or 5) it will save the location for you.

Well worth book marking the system but the base will show on your planet list once you enter the system. Makes finding it the next time a piece of cake. Don't forget to scan the public beacon as well, it drops multiple data materials these days.

With practice you can do a lap of the base (about 10 materials) in about a minute. Rince and repeat until your stocks are full (HDC tend to fill up first).

When you get bored of going around in circles there are good minerals on the planet to boot. I head south from Dav's Hope.

Iron (21.3%) Nickel (16.1%) Sulphur (15.2%) Carbon (12.8%) Chromium (9.6%) Manganese (8.8%) Phosphorus (8.2%) Germanium (4.5%) Cadmium (1.7%) Niobium (1.5%) Polonium (0.6%)

+1 for Davs Hope

I spent a day there and was acquired a metric ♥♥♥♥ ton of mats for all all sorts of stuff.

Thread w/ map of materials:

https://old.reddit.com/r/EliteDangerous/comments/80rgfy/davs_hope_new_map_for_30/

A couple mats not listed on there still drop as well.

the map wont show me it when i type dr-v c2-23, so how can i plot rout here?
Sledge Jul 21, 2018 @ 6:30am
The system is "Hyades Sector DR-V C2-23"
The planet is "A 5".
The co-ordinates of the base is 44.818 / -31.389

yea thanks, but i cant get the galaxy map to point on it. normaly i would just type in the search on the gm and it will zoom to the location, but not when i type in dr-v c2-23 it dose nothing but sit there. other than manuly scouring the galaxy zooming in and out i have no idea of how to plot a rout to some where i cant find.

Chemical processor description from inara:

"Component found in ships: frequently used by haulage vessels. Destroyed haulage vessels can be scavenged from the aftermath of combat in shipping lanes. Known to be salvaged from signal sources in high security systems."

I recommend inara. It's generally accurate for where or how to find mats.

NVM THanks, i had to write it all, "Hyades sector dr-v c2-23" then i found it.

If you're going to do it this way, it also can't hurt to look for systems with high populations in boom state.

+1, Yup.
The only other place I'd consider is a Distribution Centre in an (preferably) Anarcy & Outbreak system. But good luck finding one of those.
3x T-10's just sitting there, aggro isn't linked, so kill one, limpet everything, kill next etc. then relog and repeat.
With a little luck you'll be seeing a fair few pharma isolators.

But you'll be getting Conductives and Capactiors/Arrays at Davs too so if you aren't fully stocked up go there for sure. Also make sure to scan the beacon every lap for data.

Remember Trade down not up. Run missions for Grade 5 parts and trade them down for the ones you need easy 70+ materials. I G5 engineered my Vette and Krait using that method in half the time it took me to scavenge the parts for my Asp and Cutter.
