ship ideas for grinding Fed navy rank?

need a good ship for grinding missions for ranking up in the fed navy, anyone got any good ideas for a ship for that? i'm not sure what to get, this is new territory for me and i don't know what to expect. i was thinking either python, or maybe fer de lance, my budgets' about 200-300 mil.

try something cheap & fast like I-eagle or i-courier. i did data for my fed rank and the speed helped alot while docking.

use that courier for thoughs courier missions :)

If you really want to grind, then you don't even need a specific ship. Just relog in a system that is spamming charity missions, or one with lots of courier missions that you can do in even a Sidewinder.

If you have a python use it for the cargo space and take the deliver gold, silver, and paladium missions also.

For a week.
I hate the Navy.
But now i'm rear admiral and made 250 Million on the side.

You rank up by running missions, in my opinion the premier mission runner in the game is the Python. Decent combat vehicle, good cargo and passenger capacity, can land at outposts. I'd go with a Python. Store the modules you need to outfit for different tasks, pick a home system with lots of Federation factions, get allied with those factions and go for it! Nanomam might be a good home base, it's the Hudson Power HQ and the factions there are in Boom a lot as a result.

Multipurpose ships are generally the best for running missions in. As others have said, python is one of the best for running missions, but it might be a bit high for you to just jump into. Andacondas can run even more cargo, but can't land at outposts, and they are also even more expensive. If you can afford it, an Asp Explorer can be a great ship and while not quite as good at combat, and it can't haul as much, it is much cheaper than a python and could very well be within your grasp. If not, Cobras are some of the cheapest multipurpose ships and can be afforded up to a rank builds within a day of grinding for credits.

I went from level 1 federation to 9 in 24 hrs by picking up loads of boom missions and going back and forth from

Also you make just under a mil credits per run. 50 mil in 24hrs I don't know if thats good as Im new but this is by far the most money I have been able to make and I only recently discovered you could rank up lol.

Also not my idea if u shift tab when in game in the bottom right someone has a guide "ez fed rank 2.4" thats where I got it from

Abuse it while you can as the devs seem to think these are "exploits" and find a way to ruin the fun causing "casuals" as the basement dwellers call them to give up on the game fairly quick.

Also i did it in a crappy type 6 transporter, You could even do it in a hauler or sidewinder. All you need is at least 4 cargo space

well, what i would like to do is take my type 7, i got all class economy cabins for it and cargo racks so i would like to do missions where i can haul people or stuff and make good credits and rank up good in the fed navy too, if thats possable. anyone know any spots like that?
