All the longest jumping ships (Anaconda, Diamondback Explorer, Krait Phantom & Asp Explorer) go farthest with Mass Manage though.
If in doubt test it on https://coriolis.io/
Deep charge for fsd class 4 and smaller.
Mass manager for fsds class 5 and larger.
if you want extra jump distance add the Gardian fsd boost
While that extra 0.5Ly jump range might be a deal breaker of reaching a star system.
and as a fellow explorer i would prefer to have extra fuel in my tank as that extra could mean i make it to my next fuel star or not...
the differance for a adder mass manager or deep charge is about 25 ly worth of fuel
So far I haven't seen a region of space where there were no scoopable stars in a radius of 400Ly. I could always reach the next fuel star in 2-3 jumps. And I have 6 jumps in my fuel tank.
include all star types when exploring you will soon find you can do 10 jumps or more and not have a fuel able star
and there is plenty of systems on the outer edge which are only reachable with jumpodium and they are not all fuel able. " even in a anaconda with 82Ly jump range "
but hey we all play the game differently and do things different way's so there really is no wrong or right answer....
and what works for you dose not mean it will work with me...
best of luck cmder with your journey in Elite o7
