Biggest Cargo M pad ship
I was wondering on what the biggest cargo M pad ship type is. Is it the phyon with all the engineer upgrades added to it or one of the cargo ships?

Pretty sure it is the Python. Then Type 6.

If you're just running Cargo, Type 6 is obviously the more economical solution.

Ok, yeah I usually just do cargo transport missions so I was looking for something I get like 300 tons. At least I wish I could get that.

you can come pretty damn close to that with the python.

type 7 barely edges it out with exactly 300 with a (i think) class 3 shield.

EDIT: forgot to say "but the type 7 is a large ship".

Yeah the python is the closest you can get to 300 tons on a medium pad

Always seems strange to me that the multirole ships carry more cargo (or passengers) than the *dedicated* cargo and passenger ships. Anyone know the rationale behind this?

If they wanted to change this they could just make dedicated slots for cargo racks and cabins, and "real" cargo/passenger ships would have more of them, like military slots are now. Also I think Type7 should be M-pad ship if Python is

Price Tag
Multirole ships that can carry more than the cargo ship in their class are usually significantly more expensive.
Python for example has an even higher price tag than the T7.

You have to compare the python more to a Type 9 pricewise.

Python is hands down the best medium size cargo ship its faster then a Type 6 and can carry more then a T6.you can do a combat load of about 180+ tons of cargo.

we all know it's the python hands down + you can engineer it to do open CG PvP and give the gankers the finger :tgrin:

T7 would be a medium ship. It's not long enough or wide enough to be classed as a large ship.

Unfortunately it's just a bit too tall to fit in a medium bay.
