While there is a thing such as upgrading your ship, just like you can upgrade your truck in ETS, you're upgrading your ship to perform better in all aspects of the game, not just travel and cargo holding like ETS. You can definitely focus the build of your ship to do so, but if you're expecting super in-depth simulation as far as deliveries go, you're not going to find it here as it's only one aspect of the game.
As far as the grind goes, you're better of typing "grind" in the search field of the forums, as this would be yet another thread that would get a whole lot of arguments on that subject on both ends, which is the last thing this forum needs. There's tons of threads and videos on Youtube on that subject, though I recommened on keeping an open mind and not see things as only being one extreme.
Which is complete rubbish, its nothing like ETS. ETS is all about the journey between points, the handling of the vehicle. Its a damn good game, but nothing like ED.
Trade is but one component of ED, its the entirity of ETS, except in ETS its not really trade, more like running delivery missions in ED.
But it's mainly like ETS but better, and yet no "business" aspect as in you can't hire people (players nor NPCs) and you can't manage any kind of company. Also there are no skills or perks to unlock.
