Good ways to gain Alliance rank?

I'm trying to unlock Bill Turner to get ahead of the bonus weekend. I remember there were spots where I could spam data courier missions to gain federation/empire rep and rank. Any good spots like that anymore, or were those patched out like some of the old credit goldmines?

by the time you are allied with alioth independants you will be alliance friendly especially if you stack a few others from same stations, plenty alliance right there

Do you mean alliancing with any faction in particular, or are you specifically talking about the Alliance?

If you have a solid look around, there may be a few good areas. I've heard of good Federation rank-up systems such as Sothis, Robigo and Ceos, and also some good Empire rank-up systems like Aditi, but no Alliance ones. Just look around, stick to a goos system, gain some reputation, and get the rank.

78 Ursa Majoris is a pretty good place to rank up Alliance. Has Alioth Independants & some Fed factions too.
