Rapid Fire Cytoscramblers?
Yhey or Nay? They sound fun, I was thinking of putting them on a Powerplay build Cobra just for teehees. I already have Packhounds on the mediums, and that alone is fun enough, but I wish I could strip shields faster.

I say try it and let us know lol. Personally I'm not interested in any powerplay weapon modules except packhounds but that's because i'm a pleb and can't use fixed

They spread very hard and are only good at close combats. For agility and speedy enemy ships i don´t recommend them.

I was gonna say long range for mine, But rapid fire might be funnier
Cytos have built in jitter? I know their range is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Didn't know they had inherent jitter like a Gimbal or Frag though.

I'm seeing mixed reports about Cytoscrambler jitter. It was originally very bad, and was reduced, then returned back... but only with certain legacy Engineering upgrades... Uh... lol. Does anyone actually own these today?

And yes, they look stupidly fun for Rapid Fire, which was why i was considering them. It's either Cytos or Mining Lance at this point.

For an example for spreading.

After my opinion the only good powerplay modules are Packhounds, Prismatic Shields, Imperial Hammer and Advanced Plasma Accelerator.
Look how old that Video is. Cytos have been buffed since then, that much I do know. Keep seeing conflicting information about potential engineering conflicts that reintroduce the old jitter. Obviously the first thing I did was check Youtube, but I couldn't find a good video since before 2.0

It's like AMD's reputation. Doesn't matter how much they improve, the damage to the reputation of the module was already done lol.

Also, Pacifier Frag Cannon is the best PP module

the enforce cannon deserve a thumbs up. shells are faster, do more dmg and have more range than a normal equivalent mc . with them - and a good hand-eye coordination - a small ship like a sidewinder , eagle or viper can actually punch above what is expected.

the cytoscrambler sadly is far from good , they should revise it to at least make them worthy in what they are supposed to be, shield trashers.

I know it´s old, but they are still not worth to buy them, but it´s on yourself what you want to do. :jasminhappy:

I like more the Guardian Shard Cannon instead of the Pacifier Frag Cannon.
Honestly, I don't believe you've ever used a Pacifier if you think the Guardian Shard Cannon is better. The pacifier is better in every objective way except it can't hurt thargoids and can only be fitted on Class 3 hardpoints. (Making it kinda limited to Python, Chieftain, Vulture and the Federal Dropship/Assault/Gunship.

The shard cannon is good for stripping big ship's shields though.

I'm really curious how you consider Guardian Shard Cannon better than Pacifier though, like the logic must be fascinating, because I own both, and comparing the Pacifier to the Shard Cannon is like comparing the USD to the Venezualan Bolivar.

Please walk me through the logic, I own multiple copies of both so I can test out your method.

The Wiki doesn't even mention the jitter anymore though. but some listings are accurate, some aren't.

Also, did I mention I have All the Powerplay Modules but Cyto, retributor and Mining Lance at this point?

I left these three for a reason, I know they're bad. At least the Mining Lance can be used for exploration, but if I can have some stupid fun with the Cyto, I'd rather go for that. but it depends on what version of the weapon exists right now.

I think I'll skip on the power play and keep my efficient beams, they are much better.
