-Don't sell at Founders World but Yes
-Yes but it's not worth the trouble
So if you sell your ship with all the modules in it, you're taking a 10% hit on the ship and modules. Selling the modules separately means you're only taking a 10% hit on the ship.
If that makes sense. :)
Yes, the Insurance is based on what you paid for what's insured.
If he sells his ships at Founders World, he'll sell for Founders World price then rebuy at same price, which is why i say if you're going to sell and rebuy at a discount, don't sell at a discount at Founders.
It's not 10% hit on the ship as a whole, it's 10% hit on only the modules. In most cases, it's not worth the trouble unless you need the credits. If you're seeling expensive modules with the ship, I can deduct you don't need the credits therefor not worth the trouble.
You'll also have a higher rebuy on the stuff you buy with a markup.
My reasoning is not that I would get more credits out of it. I am very interested in reducing my insurance costs. I am planning to play this game for a long time and insurance costs can pile up in the long run.
Cheers^^
