I mapped all the directions that my joystick should control (at least to what feels right to me).
Is there like a table or a diagram that shows which goes where? I'm starting to get confused. To what function do I map the twist feature on my joystick? when I twist left, it yaws left, but (even though its mapped and registered in the options) when I twist towards the right, while in game, my ship doesn't do anything (but the options menu where I map the things to the right twist is recognized). which is what I don't understand.
moving my joystick forward and backwards redirects the ship up and down, and moving it left and right makes my ship roll either left or right. when I twist left and right, my ship's yaw left works, and not yaw right. I don't think I missed anything on the settings. when I went back to reapply the right twist to the yaw direction, the setting never changed.
But if you insist on using digital Yaw Left and Yaw Right, then make sure that you only twist the joystick and not accidentally move it to any other direction, as you train that button. Otherwise it will register several movements for that action to be triggered.
I just checked with my 3D Pro - digital left and right both work in the game, too.
My 3D Pro was recognised by the Windows 10 without any extra drivers, though. I just calibrated it in the Windows menu, and that was it.
