Where is my Horizons CD key?

Totally not in the CD key section of the library for ED. Then where is it?

I know this may sound condescending, but have you considered asking Frontier that question?

I just clicked on the side panel in my game "CD Keys" and the window shows the Elite Dangerous key and the Horizons Season Pass key, so that's where they are. However, yours is not there so the best place to post is on the Frontier forums, possible there is a thread there or put in a support ticket.

Lol, I wasnt asking you for giving me a template answer. I have searched all over google for that, but thanks anyway. Just would like to point out how useless Frontier are and cant fix the same issue I had 4 years ago when I bought Elite initially. Well played

If you bought Horizons on Steam and the key does not show up in there, you need to contact Steam support.

Your purchases from them are their responsibility, it's Steam who gives you products (in this case a product key) in exchange for money. If they fail to do so, they are the first point of contact.

no i dont think you can see purchased dlcs for elite on steam profiles

Yeah it does show it. Either sort by name and look for "ED: Horizons Season Pass", or use the filter and search for "Horizons".

I can see it on Wolf's profile.

Can't even see the base game on Shadowdancer's profile (presumably never bothered to redeem steam key?)

shadowdancer must be playing the FDev version
the little mouse icon right here beside your name shows if you own the base game atleast on steam

you need to contact steam, they are responsible for furnishing you with a key in the first instance if you bought the game off them

After seeing all the issues I'm quite happy with my store version (not that there was a choice back then) :-P

Don't blame you... Despite my rather extensive play time on steam, I've got at least a couple of hundred hours outside of steam because of the same issues

And I see it on yours, so the CD key should be there for you.

@Mental: Check your purchase history, it doesn't look like you own it. If you bought it on the Frontier store, get your key from there and register it to steam.

Did you register your dlc on your game account?
The process you needed to do is :

On steam:
- Go to the Elite Dangerous game on your library and click CD key
- Copy the horizons DLC key

On the Frontier website for elite dangerous
- Login
- Go to address book and fill your billing address (no payment info is necessary just your home address or something) and save it.
- Go to "Product Access Key"
- Paste the key from steam there
- Click "submit key" button

REMEMBER: double check that you are doing it on the correct account and that you already have Elite Dangerous (the base game) associated with that account.

That should do it.
You might need to restart ED launcher if you have it open.
