Polymer Capacitors
Sheesh where are these?

Check the engineering recipe, it will tell you where to find them.

I think polymer capacitors drop from Haulage vessels, a good time to farm them is while grinding Merits for Powerplay, as you'll be killing lots of Haulage vessels. Try to go after T9's and T7's.

You may be able to find them in Anacry Systems at Combat Aftermath sites in the Shipping lanes. (Shipping lanes are typically high-traffic corridors between the star and starports.)

Best way, go to a combat zone, blow ships up, look for them dropping these.

Less certain way, go to an outbreak system and check the mission boards.

This works too, because I think T9's spawn in High Intensity right?

Unfortunately, you can't just mill about and wait for the AI to blow up, if you don't get "Credit" for the kill (Bounty or Bond rules apply) it won't generate salvage for you.

AFAIK, they only drop from haulage vessels from Convoy Dispersal signal sources. Military ships are best, therefore CZ are the best place to get them quickly.

Any ships that spawn in CZ are considered military ships.
I got mine from Anarchy System I interdicted Type 6, 9 and Belugas
As an Aside, it appears high-level Anacondas are dropping Grade 5 manufactured materials again. I haven't seen that happen since the last time Exquisite Focus Crystals were removed from the tables and nobody could get them!

So I just found 5 military supercapacitors instead so thats a good amount via exchange. Now... abnormal compact emission data? No idea where to find those. Help?

Looks like encoded emission signal sources and scanning combat ships are your best bet.

Hmm.. maybe sit in a CZ, don't pledge, just scan ships.

I've been doing that for what feels like forever. Never even seen one.

You can get them in encoded emission USS but it is random so takes a bit. I've noticed that after actually dropping into the USS you can get a lot of goodies in them. They became so prevalent I started ignoring them but they are a great way to mine materials and data.
