my aim is one desternation but with lots of passengers.
i currently have a python with economy only but the private passenger take one whole cabbin to them selfs....
so need more room.....
so i thought type 10 is slow but a crap load of space and very tankey so if i am interdicted i can submit then cruze away with to much worrie. but this is just a theroy..... thats why i ask.
I have an A-rated but unengineered T10 and it handles like a brick in SC. So I imagine I would have to submit to interdiction a lot. My Python, on the other hand, handles well in SC so I never need to submit to interdiction.
for "special" passengers i would suggest you get an orca instead as that can fit luxury cabins. (non-liner ships can at best fit first class).
Orca is great if you don't want the hassle of Beluga slot managment.
Orca is agile to escape interdiction.
Orca can submit and escape with it's high speed.
If you add engineered fast charge FSD and engine focused distributor you are untouchable.
i also noticed the new update will give this a better power supply turning from 6 to 7 in the 3.0 update so could be helpful
worst case trade in and revert back lol
it already has S7? that was added a while ago now. but it's still not a good passenger ship. ok as an armed trader, but for passenger missions you are better off with a python or something medium/large size wiht long jump range (for sightseing missions etc.)
and considering a decent amount of "special" passengers can spawn enemies and they get distressed while the shields are down, having something that can shield tank can be usefull.
low budget passenger ship: Type-6/Cobra mkIII/IV
medium budget: Python
High Budget (sardine hauling :3): Anaconda.
just had the type 10 for short time now off to buy a anaconda to compare....
no need to go buy one just to test. the anaconda can carry 186 passengers, without shields.
the type-9 can carry 130 without shields.
the anaconda also has 11 optional internals compared to the type-9's 9 for those pesky cabin hogging special passengers.
sorry, i miss-calculated. the anaconda can carry 202, not 186.
