((But I get your point))
But seriously i mean how does the "clip change" thing happens in 33rd century space warfare ? There's a robot arm that removes the clip from a huge-a$$ gun and fits a new clip in. Really ?
That's like if you told an A-10 Thunderbolt pilot to land and change clips on his GAU8 Avenger every 3 seconds. Belt-fed ammo has been there for a reason.
I get the "game balance" thing but it kills immersion. So just let us Dakka-Dakka and if it means reducing DPS, fine, i can deal with that better than clip reload on a huge slug thrower.
I’ve had the same question about clips for the projectile weapons in other games as well. Here we are, twenty plus thousand years separated from the modern day and my 425mm autocannons have to reload? Well... at least there I can reload when I want.
