The same trick, but more detailed. (Honestly just do the 75% and just let it go itself. That other stuff he mentions aftewards seems a little counter intutive to the whole point of needing the trick in the first place, unless you're impatient.)

Basically, max speed. At 0:07, drop to 75% throttle. The distance and speed should level out perfectly. If you accidently go faster again, you can hit 75% at 0:07 again and it will revert back. Just make sure you never pass 0:07 at any faster speed.
Don't use it on planetary landings, though. There you do need to manage your speed, depending on the planet's gravity.
this can be good for avoiding interdictions. fly past your destination turn around amd slow down when the bad guy is flying towards you.
