Life support systems?
How does life support systems work?
I was flying 21,000LY and all a sudden my life support systems failed.
How can i repair the system while in space(if possible)?
How does a pilot handle a situation like that?

sounds like you lost power by deploying hardpoints. retract the hard points and it will come on again. then look up elite dangerous power managment :)

or you ran out of fuel

then again, you are quite a ways out so maybe using the neutron stars for jumping destroyed it? now you need to reboot your ship to repair it maybe?

I have no hardpoints.
I'm on a hauler without any weapons.

it probably took too much damage from something. you can repair it by either docking somewhere and paying for repairs or by using an AFMU. You COULD also be out of fuel.

Life support shouldn't just FAIL for no reason.

if it fails a 2nd time, try turning off all non ecential modules. the reboot will strip the modules that are off to repair the ones that are on
