NPC's have unfair FSD advantage; Low wake problems
I just noticed that NPC's can jump into FSD within a couple of seconds where players get mass locked for up to 10 seconds. If this is supposed to be sim, why give NPC any advantage?

Also having to scan low wakes when playing co-op is pretty game breaking. The mission boards not being sync'ed is understandable i guess, but not allowing co-op players to interact is pretty game breaking. :steamsalty:

1) high wakes do not get mass locked
2) small ships cannot mass lock ships with higher MLF's
3) NPC's DO get mass locked - I've done it.

wing missions are coming in 3.0 - for which the beta starts next week. Currently there's really no coop missions in the game but you'll be able to share wing missions with your friends and it WILL be synced. Also, instead of following their low wake, have them turn on their wing beacon. you can also nav-lock with your wingmates and all jump in/out when the "leader" that you've locked on to jumps.

NPCs do get the FSD cooldown as well. Mass lock is seperate from that. There is however a bug that lets NPCs sometimes bypass the cooldown. It is known and probably being fixed soon™ - that may be with the next big update.

you do know that npc's NEVER low wake from normal space. they always high jump so mass means nothing. :)
