Fuel Capacity - what's the second figure?
I'm my newbie ship and in Outfitting and under fuel capacity I can see 2.00 / 2.3 T

I have a 2.00T fuel tank installed so what's the 2.3T showing me?

If I go to an empty compartment and hover over another 2.00T fuel tank the first figure doubles to 4.00 as expected but the second figure remains on 2.3.

empty fuel tank has mass also.

I don't remember looking at that figure, but it's most probably your maximum frameshift drive (FSD) usage capacity per 1 jump.

Empty cargo racks dont have a mass until its loaded.Every class fuel tanks has its own mass even empty,here is some good site to play with numbers
