Disable auto launch?

New player here. I want to get familiar with the controls myself without relying on automation. I also quite enjoy doing the procedures manually. How do I disable the auto launch from stations?

You could sell or remove and store the module in the outfitting menu at a station.

There may also be a way to disable it in the right hand (systems) panel but I've only ever had an autopilot on one trip then got rid of it, so I've never really checked.

If its a module like the auto pilot that lands your boat, then yeah you can turn it off from the modules section. Right side panel under modules

Right Panel in Cockpit > Ship tab > Flight Assist tab under that, there you can set how it should behave or turn it off.
