Anyone here prefer two sticks, and why?
There's no sticky bit in the middle of the throttle so if you want to use full-range it's best to set some deadzone in the middle.
No major complaints about the T16000M though if you use the base buttons for anything sometimes it can be easy to accidently hit an adjacant one - they do have little bumps on them to make it a bit easier to find the right one though.
throttle!
lots of handy buttons - more than on the stick itself
the base buttons on the stick is akward to bind to anything else but "chill" functions like nightvision/75% speed/switch hud mode etc.
And DO set the dead zone on the throttle if you go full range.
Now my only wish is the ability to save control profiles and a button to switch between them because you will run out of buttons if you try to have everything useful bound aswell as a decent combat setup at the same time - there's always a few things that either gets placed akward or simply doesn't fit. Best pipe dream would be if you switched mode from combat->scan or scan->combat your controls switch at the same time.
(Might be a bit off topic, but have the recent patch fixed the "after binding all HOTAS buttons keyboard functions start to magically unbind themselves by random"?)
The throttle is awesome, if you are going to get something from that, it is the throttle. The selection of buttons is awesome (3 4 way buttons, 1 analog stick with push in button, additional thumb button, 4 more buttons by the fingers, with some paddles; it really is well packed with buttons and most are easily reachable. You can bind just about everything you need in the game.
The throttle don't have an obvious "zero", which is the main argument against, but Tokan's advice is spot on in setting dead zones.
The stick is I guess "adequate". The base buttons are largely useless if you are using the throttle, but you can bind unimportant things like switching lights on and off. There is no dedicated secondary fire button, which is a slight bummer as I don't think any of the buttons on the stick itself particularly lend itself to be good "fire" buttons. You only have POV buttons, and 3 extra apart from trigger, so you are going to need to go hands-off a lot to access all necessary buttons if you go extra sticks.
Add in a VR headset and you have one of the most immersive experiences ever.

What is the usage scenario for that control panel? I play in VR, so I'm not sure I'll be able to see it in the first place.

Thanks. I thought the throttle had an analog 4-directional stick though?
Now I'm not fully sure: on the joystick, is the rotation digital?
