Report a translation problem
Even if you could dump some cargo, you wouldn't be able to rebuy it from the common market, cause the cargo is mission-specific and can't be replaced.
And if you dump it just outside the station, you still wouldn't be able to swap to another ship to pick it up fast enough, as it will self-destruct after a little while (a few minutes).
Down with the authority!
The only real option to save these missions is to wing up with another commander, drop the cargo, have him pick it up, then you buy a medium ship and outfit it for enough space, then go back to the commander and he drops it back for you. I am not even sure the mission would not throw a fit if you did this, but its the only real option. But its probably quicker and easier just to drop the missions.
