For analogue inputs the correct control to use is the axis (should be called something like "throttle axis"). Check that your throttle is assigned to it, and not to "increase/decrease".
Throttle Axis is set to the Joy X-Axis (my throttle up and down) set to be inverted so when its closest to me it is off and farther away it is on. Throttle Axis range is full range. Throttle increments is set to continuous. This is set by default settings when I selected my HOTAS in the presets.
Which are all the same settings I had about 6 months ago when I last played. Nothing has changed. Except patches and updates to the game, that I'm aware of. As I don't mess with games that i have setup working great. But for some reason when I plugged in my HOTAS tonight the throttle has been acting up. Just a small amount of movement and its 100 percent. Skips right past the blue part of the speedometer so im now always speeding in ports.
All you should have to do is go into option then click controls and in presets choose Saitek x56 and all controls will be setup.
I had to follow the support of clearing the registry and re calibrating the throttle and stick. This was the last resort. I'm going to past the article I had to do so if someone else ever has this issue they know where to start.
