Tried to get professional help for my limpets suicidal tendencies but. Sadly. No. They can’t be cheered up at all. They seem to delight in self destruction. Sigh.
That's not entirely true. Mine will slowly move along the surface of an asteroid fragment for quite a while before they finally die. I've spent plenty of time mining waiting to some stupid collector to kill itself so I can deploy a replacment.
My limpets are all fun and games while I am docked at a station. But as soon as I launch they are all doom and gloom. “Oh God Oh God we’re all going to die!”
Nothing I do will cheer them up. Sigh.
(I'm really just giving them their freedom)
- can travel 300m/s
- 500Ls from the nearest object
"Freedom" XDSo...just don't target anything then, huh? Just park yourself in the middle of whatever's left of that npc ship, release a limpet and let the loot roll in?
Sweet! Knew there had to be something more to it...thank you!
Lol limpets remind me of that little guy from Hitchiker's Guide. Oh...why bother...*explodes*
Some of mine loved the cracked asteroid chunks. It just stay there watching the chunks while there are materials to collect lol
I know, its a limpets argument !
