Keyboard randomly stops working in game.
Keyboard controls will randomly stop working when in game. Does anyone know what causes this and if there is a fix for it?

Maybe your game window loses focus? Do you play in full-screen or a windowed mode?

I'm playing borderless and don't recall ever having that issue.

Playing full screen. Three monitors spanned. I use a hotas along with keyboard and the keyboard stops responding randomly. Happens once every few hours. I have to control +Alt+Del to task manager, and end task on the game and reload to get it to work again.

I doubt it will be of any help, because I really don't know your setup, but the only thing coming to my mind is USB overload. My colleague once had too many things connected to USB ports and if I remember correctly, he had similar issues. Just mentioning this in case it may relate to your setup as well.

It's a bug with the chat window grabbing the keyboard without any visible indication. You need to somehow open chat and press enter.

Great. Cause I have no way of doing that with my setup without a keyboard. lol Thanks though.

Yes mine did this same thing. I had to exit the game and come back in.

It happens to me right after I had checked an incoming message in the chat box and then immediately went to the left side system screen.

Yes makes some missions useless. I was doing wetwork missions today with multiple targets and the keyboard stopped working 20 times or so. Extremely fustrated with their bug report system as well since their system doesn't log me in properly so I can't report the problem in the issue tracker.

Don’t bother reporting it, I’ve had this issue too, and a quick search shows it’s been going on for over a year now.

Most people go into freelook mode and press Enter, clears it up if you point at message. I play in VR so don’t work since I diasbled side hi look options. So I have to restart.

Someone on facebook recommended using voice attack to open and close the chat window to resolve it but surprise surprise. It didn't work. So i'm still end tasking it.

I actually only have 2 things attached USB so I doubt this is the problem. Thanks anyway.
