Nothing beyond the 2020 announcement and what they dropped at LaveCon the other day.
They say there are.
FD has already revealed Sep update and fleet/squadron carriers in Dec last weekend.
They also said last Apr iirc that a smaller team continues to work on quality of life improvements which will come as 3 or 4 free updates until mid-2020.
Hmm... i guess the patches just write themselves then!
Wow, FD really have made a breakthrough in software development!
Nobody sees a pattern ? Work..next year..work...last year..next year last year..maybe dlc, maybe no dlc..
Get real.
Patches? You call those patches? What No mans sky does is called patches..like 20 in 6 months...what Elite dangerous does is called accidentally having the bluetooth mouse in the pocket while sitting on the FD hq toilet and accidentally clicking a button that does a fake update release that contains no new code..sort of like a refreshF5&postupdate button..nothing comes out just a bunch of gibberish and we all know cause they forgot about EDey.
Please, stop the food of your factually incorrect gibberish. "We all" know better, as we actually play this game.
The Apr update included a lot of fixes but it also introduced some new features (e.g., ADC & SCA and Pilot's Fed Disctrict) and quality of life improvements that are listed at https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/april-update-patch-notes.509331/.
You are not making any sense with your pattern comment but obviously unhappy over a game? I have played more than a few games but not many will continue to improve on their game designs for free. Most game developers stop updating to improve or fix bugs after 3 months or so.
Well, I would consider the concept art of atmospheric flight, and Sir DB talking about how much he's looking forward to going on a safari on an alien planet, as "saying things about atmospheric landings", in the general sense that it was assumed that they would in fact be added to the game eventually. But no, no specific or even generic timetable information has ever been released.
Much vision, little schedule, probably extremely high complexity to make it happen at a level David wants. E:D was Frontier's first independent game, it's on a massive scope, and the current 2020 schedule is testament to mistakes having been made now standing in the way of said vision. (Frontier effectively said as much when they announced the current development model, and there are several areas that management level folks told us were not too nice, e.g., the HUD system or the block structure of the Milky Way.)
So definitely looks like space legs coming before atmospheric planets which I guess makes sense. But base building?!! Yuk I hate crafting games. Looks like ED will be turning into Arc Survival Evolved in Space, which is a game I don't particularly like much because of the crafting and the lack of decent solo play. Truly hope this game ends up being a lot better than that one, but my hopes are diminishing tbh.
(edit) And the same probably goes for the rest of what you dug up there. Remember the "Elite Roadmap" that turned out to be someone's fantasy running wild on Reddit? Yeah, like that.
