can't turn in delivery mission?

I have a mission to deliver X units to a port. I also have a mission I recently added at that port to mine Y units. I delivered X units to the port but don't see the mission available to complete, I only see the new mission I added. Is this a bug?

Tough to say; sometimes it's not quite clear. I know the first deliveries I made were pretty confusing.
First question is when you take the mission, are you loading the goods into your ship? That's the mistake I made.
When you take the mission, the option to load your ship shows up in the bottom-right corner of the screen. I can't be more precise at the moment; I'm a few thousand LY from humanity lol. Check that - it was a major facepalm for me when I realized I was flying back and forth with an unloaded ship. :)

yep I have it loaded (I've done quite a few of these). The only difference is that I have existing missions at the destination station. Those are the only missions that show up... not my completed mission to unload the X units

yep I have it loaded (I've done quite a few of these). The only difference is that I have existing missions at the destination station. Those are the only missions that show up... not my completed mission to unload the X units

Hmm sorry about that then - I can't really say. Obviously you're taking it to the right station; the only other thing I could suggest is are you talking to the right representative? Sorry I can't be more help.

Are you looking under the correct minor faction? You are not always delivering to the top one.

You might have missed something. It's easier to check based on screenshots.

i am having the same issue with this. i just starting mining missions and got 10 of the 20 items, i assume you can drop off partials since i have done that before. when i go back to the station and talk with the same faction person the quest option to turn in material is not there.

i have the same mission for 20 units at two stations within the same area and went to both of them and they both have no Turn In Option, the quest doesnt even appear in their list.

there is an ( ! ) at both station on the Mission Board Tab and when i do go into the Sell Feature in the Commodities Tab the material is Highlighted Blue stating Active Mission Require This Item.

- So what is the issue, what am i missing?

It could be that the mission you picked up was for specific cargo... by that I mean mission-specific... not something you get from the commodities section of the station board, but SHOULD have been cargo PROVIDED by the mission giver.

instead, you bought from the commodities section, shipped it over to the mission destination but can't hand in the cargo as its not the stuff they want.

Could that be it?

How many hours of your life did you waste on mission that will net you enough credits to do nothing with? This game is really just a life wasting time burning Sim.

figured it out, i guess some quests will not let you turn in Partials at all you need to collect the entire amount before the quest appears again to turn it in. That kind of sucks since you really need a lot of cargo space for them.
