Other contenders are the Asp X, Krait Phantom, Orca, and Type 7.
What are a few extra jumps, if you enjoy the experience?
Wasn't sure if outfitting the phantom, orca, or ASP would give me significantly more range than the 80LYs I already have.
So ~80 LY is top tier. Good to know.
Anaconda = 76.27LY (w/o NB - with NB 305L) it all depends on what you fitted the ships with that weight em down.
I took an Anaconda and turned back early because I hated it.
T10 full of toys fun for 50 jump trip.
Badger fun for 50 Jump trip and handles better than ASP.
Beluga big window and about 50ly range to the core with that awesome view!
(if you love to explore you got to take the Beluga at least once)
(My Beluga scoops 800s with the 6A no heat issues with engineering)
Making 500 jumps vs 600 jumps does not matter.
If you hate the ship after 100 jumps that matters.
If you are trying to break records or time is an issue that is different.
All around Beluga has best view, ASP handles good, Anaconda most range.
If I could only have 1 explorer it's the Phantom without a doubt.
I'm about to test out the phantom, but idk. It's gonna take a lot of work to do to it what I did to the explorer..
Rest is kind of meh, either short of slots or jump range. I like phantom as second place though.
