Scoopable stars
I know what you're thinking; "Ohh this guy again with his questions!" but bear with me here cause I'm new lol.

So ladies and gents I'm aware that the scoopable stars are the K, G, B, F, O, A, M classes a.k.a. the first 7 stars on the filter on the map. When I'm planning a route that is longer than my usual routes, I select only the scoopable stars and then I click the "Apply filter to route" option. You'd think that now every star would be scoopable but instead somewhere around the 1/4 of the route I see that it says "Fuel star; last chance to scoop fuel on route". But y tho? I clicked on the stars that were supposed to be not scoopable but they did belong in one of those 7 classes, so I come to the question; why can't I scoop fuel from those stars even when I've applied the class filter to my route?

Thank you for your time!

I think what that means, is that that is the last star you can reach without scooping along the way.

Wow... that sentence is bad.

So would you say that it's safe for me to travel without finding any un-scoopable stars?

Yes it is, if you really scoop at this last star that is showing in your route. But my advise is that you scoop every time you can do. Depends on your fuelscoop. If you got a really slow one then make your own decision if you like to, or not.
With my exploration Conda I got a 7a scoop and after I passed the star in a system I fly full into the next system.

Just be aware of where you are. There are regions of space where scoopable stars become mighty rare.

I scoop every chance I get. I’ve found myself in some tight spots on several occasions because I didn’t.
Don't forget that you waste energy and as a result - fuel, while flying in a supercruise, too. If you decide to lurk around some system - you might not be able to reach that last star to scoop. Better scoop whenever you can.

I'm halfway to my destination right now. It worked like this ^^
All stars are coopable and I'm scooping on every chance i get.
I even found some undiscovered stuff, however I didn't have a surface scanner so although that stuff popped up on the map it remained as "Undiscovered". Oh well...
o7 CMNDRs, thanks for the advice.

Personally, I just top off my fuel tank in my python between jumps in stars. a class 5 scoop does that...

This way if i end up in a system or two without scoopable stars I don't have to sweat low fuel.

I admit I didn't respect how useful fuel scoops were til I almost needed to call the Fuel Rats.
