"Failed to Synchronize Time with Server"

Yesterday I was zipping around in VR and everything was fine. Today I buy the DLC on sale and nothing works.

Standard Elite Dangerous will bring up a totally white launcher, let me type my log in credentials, but when I click log in it does nothing. I'm left with looking at my login fields.

Horizons just reports that time synchronization error. I set my computer to automatically update my time but tbh I don't even know why that would matter.

Any advice would be appreciated.

edit: apparently all I had to do was complain on the forums and now it works fine.

check that youre pc system time is correct and accurate. running a windows time sync usually fixes the issue :)

Synced up my time and it's still broken wtf. Was fine yesterday.

Those replying today 3/15/2018 to this old, necro'd thread from January- it's looking like it's the game and not your PC. Nobody can get on right now with the time synchonization error.

OH, I'm on the phone with my ISP I was thinking it was a VPN/Proxy issue. Well there goes my evening. Ugh.

My friend logged on just a few minutes ago. No problem. I have the time zone error though.
