biggest player controled ship?

what would it be? because i want to fly a big, turret ridded, tanky, ship

At the moment it's either the ClipperCutter or the Vette I think... But if you want a big tank, maybe take a look at the new T10? I've not tried one myself yet, as I've spent most of the game avoiding the T ships... But apparently the T10 is pretty good.

(Not counting the Beluga as that's not really a combat ship, with only 5 medium hardpoints... Probably is the biggest though?)

5 medium hardpoints puts it in the upper half of ships in terms of firepower...

If you want to feel the mass of the ship, then fly a T-10 or an iCutter. The Beluga Liner, while is the biggest, handles much nimbler.

Largest is beluga, then cutter, corvette, anaconda. Those are the 'big' ships, but they all have different roles. If you want the most firepower, go with the corvette (2 huge beams is devastating). If you want to trade, go with the cutter, but don't expect to outmanouver anything. Beluga is pretty much only useful for passenger missions, and the anaconda is an all-rounder

The oh so gorgeous Cutter will be considered the largest ship in the game. While the Beluga Liner is slightly longer and taller, it's "wider girth" only comes from it's currently, totally unecessary atmospheric fins. That said, it cannot take, nor dish out anywere close to the same amount of damage as the other "big 3". The Cutter is also the most massive (weighs the most), has the largest mass lock factor, and is, by far, the fastest ship of the big ones.

beluga and cutter are the most massive, tho i wish there would be titan class ships and playable, those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ are even bigger than space stations

Sure, ships are large in relation to real objects, but it does not change a fact that what we are allowed to fly are just fighters. They work like fighters, fly like fighters, and... when one of the biggest ships is called corvette it tells a lot about its classification too...
And how their size is related to those of the only ship named "battlecruiser" we have in game makes this even more evident.

Actually in terms of dry tonnage, the Type-10 is the New Fat Lady of the bunch.

Yeah when you look at raw DPS it's better than a Vulture... But then you've got to think about the damage penalty vs large ships, and time on target... If you go all turrets, it's less DPS than a Vulture with fixed weapons... And good look using fixed weapons on that whale
