If you strip it clean for maximum range you can get to around 60 LY on full tank and a little more on fumes. It's all about engineering and fitting the right modules. That makes the AspX have one of the best jump ranges in the game.
My ASP, which is around the third best jumping ship I believe will jump 47.5+
Best ship I ever purchased at the time of my game experience.
Guys, galls or some combination of both do research, learn, ask questions BEFORE you make incorrect comments
So easy to land when you can simply look down at your feet
yup. Vulture and the lakon ships....
I remember back in the day when I thought my little Adder getting 28 lyrs was some kind of accomplishment.
A rated FSD and everything else D rated. Grade 5 engineer or even Grade 3 engineer the FSD and it will boost the range significantly. Also engineer the power plant, grade 1 or 2 is fine just to get a little more power so you can carry everything you want. You will want the Adv Disc Scanner, Surface Scanner and an SRV and maybe a repair module but not required. Just be careful around the brown dwarfs, neutrons and so forth. ED likes to drop you in right on top of them.
You can further improve jump range by making all your core internal modules D-rated.
If you have the Horizons Expansion, you can also go to an engineer (Elvira Martuk or Felicity Farseer) and give them components to enhance jump range. You can theoretically get around 45 light years, maybe more.
Good luck!
with decent rolls and a full exploration build you can easily break 55ly, good rolls and you can break 60
