Frontier registration is RIDICULOUS

You guys all went through this? For 30 minutes, I've been going around in circles trying to redeem my activation code and login. It just times out each time. I think this registration site is glitching. This is such a huge, unreasonable barrier to playing the game. I am so frustrated at this.

Do I really need to enter my billing address and telephone number? Because I REALLY DO NOT WANT to do that for a game I've already paid for. Is it necessary?

I give you money. You give me game. Why is this being obfuscated?

No, not necessary at all to enter any personal details. Not sure why you cannot log in though, but just launch the game and it will ask you to copy/paste Steam keys to your account, so that if you ave Horizons for example it will add that to your account and it will show on game launcher.
I have done it couple of days ago no problem at all.

because the Frontier store needs a billing address for verifying potential credit card purchases for dlc.

Sure you're not using some kind of script- or ad-blocker? Did you mess with your cookie exceptions?

I turned off adblock for this. Still unsure why it's not working.

I click "log in", I get the "please check your email for verification code", I see the new email with verification code, I copy that code, I paste that code into the window, I hit "submit" and it just goes back to the "please verify your login info" window from before. Infinite loop.

What am I doing wrong?! FFS I just want to play the game FFFFFFFFFFUUUU

Nope, takes me a few seconds each time i have to activate (sometimes have to activate when using a third party tool like EDDI.

Initial registration was a breeze.

However, i don't have the Steam version, but that shouldn't make much difference for this.

Wait. Don't request a new code. Don't close that window. If copy/paste isn't working, try manually typing it (sometimes people copy/paste a leading/trailing space).

Wait a few mins before trying again. Sometimes the servers lag behind the mails.

I've gone back to other games while I wait. I've waited 2 FREAKING HOURS now. I just want to play this game!!!

All I get is "Sorry, the access key you entered is not valid" even though it matches. I don't know what I'm doing wrong?!!
