Finally Anaconda then mission boards killed the game
Great game, fun grinding up to a fully loaded Anaconda using my Python
doing basically delivery missions, not glamorous but its what I like to do.
Very disappointed with mission boards with nothing for an Anaconda to do.
The devs are no doubt genius but these mission boards lack common sense.
Not interested in massacers, mining (except for engineering elements) multi
thousand wing missions smuggling, etc just want to grind my way to a Federal
Corvette. Surprised the devs would impose this penalty on players who did
the grind to a big ship. Going back to the great little Python seems useless
grinding to a Fed Corvette so it can be parked next to the Anaconda. Just
going to quit the game if I cant use the Anaconda I had so much fun outfitting.

You can make the anaconda do just about anything, usually at the same time. thats the perk of having a larger ship.
Why are you having trouble finding a use for it?

The missions aren't offered based on your ship. The only thing that affects them are your ranks, and whatever the system/faction states are in which determines the needs of those factions offering the work. And the type of faction.

This is something I've always felt needed to change and/or they need to offer a wider range of missions to accommodate various ships. As it stands now system type and faction type and system state seem to be the only variable considered and that isn't enough.

I must concur with the OP except I don't feel it 'killed the game'. That is far too extreme for me to agree with but I do feel there is room for improvement in the mission type generation.

Guess it’s a problem of my own creation just wanting to do delivery type trade
missions. The boards have many missions for wings in the thousands, normal size
delivery up to about 256 (my current max) are all or mostly ship to large.

Yeah, my problems with the board at the moment would be that there are too many wing missions, many of which have laughable rewards in exchange for massive tasks and too few missions in general, there should be at least double offered per faction, to account for board flipping being gone. Many mission types are also just broken at the moment or not working as intended (certain massacres targeting specific NPCs).
passenger missions it does better than any other ship
it is also the luxury explorer
As for cargo, it is not the best (a cutter or even type 9 beats it) but if you want profit out of a conda, it does mining well, mission wise, take the wing mission source and returns for things like superconductors etc, these pay upto 50mil each, and can be done with far fewer trips than the ofc venerable python ( these missions are always large-to-large pad missions)
if you just want meat and veg 180T cargo missions nothing has ever beaten the python
when famine was still a thing, agricultural stations used to offer multiple 180T missions to the same station, and then the big ships got to shine, but those are all but dead nowdays
contrary to popular belief, bigger does not equal better in this game

I use mine for passenger missions as well. Stuffed with economy seats and heat sinks, you can evacuate hundreds off a burning station.

Fly to a different star system. Find one with a lot of big stations and a few of outposts, so the game wouldn't be generating so many of outposts missions.

As I always said, the Python is a better multipurpose ship than the Anaconda. No problems with lucrative outposts deliveries.

Ah, its a typical story OP. Grinding to the biggest ship only to discover that you can do everything in the smaller ships you can do in the bigger ships.

Bigger ships just make the game easier, they don't provide any new content.

Fly what you enjoy flying, do whatever you enjoy doing in the game.

Find most profitable trade route with large pad stations and transport items. When you get trade elite, you will hate space trucking. As for Vette - its not for transporting. Its ulimate killing machine.

i Love the Anaconda , got mine up to 84Ly and it is just amazing at exploring
get to colonia in 280 jumps with out neutron hwy's ....best explorer in the game.

also the best passenger , and not a bad smuggler

if you are worried about credits i would tell you go do sum laser mining in a type 9
it is cheep and you can fit 512T of cargo that is more than 600mil for LTD

after you made a bit of money go back and do what you like to do.

As was mentioned, the trick to the mission boards is to have more than one home system. Find several systems you like, and build your rep in all of them. Then bounce around as the missions you like appear. This is a game where you have to make up your own objectives - I've had a lot of fun just bouncing around at random increasing my reputation in a wide swathe.

Oh, and yeah - Python!
